“In the end we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. We will understand only what we are taught.” Baba Dioum

Few biologists and scientists are devoted to salamanders. Of the few that are involved with the study of these amphibians, their findings generally stay within the academic community. Therefore, the general public receives little information about the conservation of salamanders. This is why Matt Ellerbeck is devoted to outreach education, to bring the message of salamander preservation to a larger audience. Conservation will only be effective when all ages and walks of life have a passion for it! Matt's presentations feature a variety of live salamanders for people to meet up close!

To book a salamander presentation or display, or to inquire about additional information on an event listed below, please visit the contact page.

Most of Matt Ellerbeck's Save The Salamanders presentations and lectures are held at schools, campgrounds, and for special interest groups. As such, these presentations are not open to the general public and are not listed.
